Beaded Earrings: the Newest Candy Jar Earring Design!
Made on:

I stopped making the candy jar earrings for a while, but there is still plenty of material left. So, I tried something new this time and combined a triangle-shaped base with some nice beads.
I used a traingle piece from a plastic candy jar as the base and nylon string to hang the beads. First I wasn't sure which beads to use, but I finally decided on clear beads and a larger heart shaped one as a detail in the middle. Make the piece of string in the middle a bit longer to get a nice triangle shape to balance the shape of the base. Pierce small holes in the plastic with a hot needle and use small crimps and pliers to seal the string and secure the beads.
